Concealed, they come out sideways.
As a lie. As a coping behavior.
Hidden, they make her fearful.
What's her real hair color?
What would she look like without makeup?
What if someone found out about...
the abortion, the rape, the divorce?
Or the belief that she's damaged goods?
Fear leads to control.
Control the narrative. Control her kids.
Control what people think.
It's all so exhausting, spinning.
Because what if someone found out?
And the cycle continues, camouflaged.
Just like a train wreck.
